Heart Speak
The bedrock foundation on which a relationship with God rests is in knowing His
love for you, by His defining characteristics of love for you, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
From this foundation of building and growing through experiencing His love for
you, we can then start to unwrap the Two Greatest Commandments to continue
this wonderful growth experience of love; “Our love for Him comes as a result of
His loving us first,” 1 John 4:19.
The Two Greatest Commandments are simply profound; “You shall love the Lord
your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is
the first and great Commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your
neighbor as yourself,” Matthew 22:37-38 (NKV). These Commandments,
in their simplicity, are often overlooked;
As we unwrap The Two Greatest
Commandments, we’ll unwrap the whole
gospel of Jesus Christ, “for all the other
commandments and all the demands of
the prophets stem from these two laws and
are fulfilled if you obey them. Keep only these
and you’ll find that you are obeying all the
others.” “All the law and the prophets hang
on these Two Commandments,”
Matthew 22:40 (LB, NIV)
If all the commandments of God really are in
His Two Greatest Commandments and really
are His whole will, His whole law, can you
afford to not know what the Two Greatest
Commandments of God say, what they mean,
what they mean to us, and what if anything
God delights to do for us through them? To
Love and be Loved is God’s greatest delight.
The mission of this non-profit public charity Foundation is to strengthen our social
fabric; to stimulate, encourage, promote and advance the study and practice of The
Two Greatest Commandments. Our purpose is for personal, spiritual, intellectual
and social growth and development. We do this in collaboration with the general
public and churches through journaling workshops, educational presentations, and
interactive groups.
